Clients’ multigenerational family histories often contain overlooked traumas that have had a deep impact on their emotional lives. Family Constellations, a unique approach in which group participants represent members of each other’s extended families, has developed a reputation for uncovering hidden patterns of trauma and helping clients let go of the past. In this experiential workshop, we’ll explore how Constellations can shed light on family patterns and accelerate talk therapy. Learn to help clients, either individually or in Constellations groups, create a “resolution picture” containing a new healing perspective on inherited trauma. You’ll discover:
- How a facilitator can successfully encourage the processing of hidden intergenerational dynamics
- Why working through family problems “on stage” is such an emotional and transformative experience; and how to work on an individual basis using Constellations principles
- The meaning behind concepts such as family entanglement, orders of love, and the knowing field
- How research in epigenetics may be underscoring the effectiveness of Family Constellations
