The Head of Richard is a 50-minute modern adaptation of Shakespeare’s Richard III from the perspective of a military veteran, showcasing the emotional havoc wreaked by chronic abuse and humiliation It was created by Stephan Wolfert, who was awarded the 2019 Max Gabriel Award from the National Alliance for Mental Illness for his outstanding ability to share his story and broaden the understanding of PTSD and other mental health challenges faced by veterans
